Too busy to blog…

Like the title of this blog post suggests, I have been very very busy.  The wedding is not very far away, finals are almost here, and Christmas is right around the corner.  However, I thought I would take a quick a moment to say hey.  The wedding stuff is pretty much wrapped up.  I am just working out the details now.  Last Friday, after I got out of school, Tyler and I rushed to Mena to watch the fireworks at the lighting of the park.  We really wanted to make the parade before but were unable to make it in time.  We had Daisy with us and that was a horrible mistake.  She HATES loud noises like thunder and fireworks. So I spent most of the time trying to calm her down and missed most of the show.  However, I did catch the end and it was beautiful.  Tyler and I have also put up our Christmas tree.  It is soooo beautiful.  It is kind of hard to tell but we did it in blues and browns with an awesome blue start on top.

P1010533    Finals are less than a week away and I am so ready for them to be over.  I am ready to have some down time.  Well, as much down time one can have while planning a wedding.  I wanted to end this blog by saying that I made an A on my dreaded ethics paper!!!!  HipHipHooray!!!!!!

Long Time, No See

Well Thanksgiving break has come and gone but luckily I am on my home stretch of school and wedding plans.  Tyler and I headed to Mena on Tuesday night for a nice, long, much need break.  Wednesday evening dad, Manda, and I hit the road for Elgin, OK, where celebrated the holiday with my dad’s family.

It was a great break and I am so sad to see it over.  School is in full blast.  In the past week I picked out, ordered, and received my bridesmaid’s dresses.  Tyler and I also booked our honeymoon.  We aren’t going to Orlando but we are taking a cruise to Mexico.  I am supper excited and I can’t wait for a little R&R.  Tonight, I figured out what I am going to give my girls for their gifts.  The only thing I am falling behind on is Christmas shopping but hopefully during the break I can hit the road for the mall. I can’t believe that after so many years Tyler and I will be tying the knot in a month.  I am so thrilled to be finally marrying my best friend.  Well I think this blog is long enough and honestly I can’t remember everything that occurred last week.  I am hoping to get back into the swing of things soon.

A little wedding and a little chat

Tyler told me today, that even though I want our wedding decorations and etc to be a surprise, I am giving away too many details.  I had no idea.  I guess I am overly excited and just don’t realize what I am saying.  Oops.  Hopefully everybody will at least act surprised and in awe on the wedding day.  Last night I addressed and sealed up 103 invitations.  I didn’t even know I knew that many people.  I still have 10 more addresses to hunt down and then I will put them in the mail.  This morning I got up and headed towards Hot Springs.  I had the grand plan of getting to the mall and getting Tyler’s wedding band and then over to Hobby Lobby to get the rest of the stuff for our centerpieces.  I got to the mall at about 9:30 not realizing that apparently from 9-10 is elderly-walk-around-the-mall-time.  Absolutely none of the stores were open, so I found a couch between the 2 jewelry stores and watched the hustle and bustle of the walkers.  30 minutes later when the stores opened I found “the ring” in about 20 minutes.  Tyler has no idea what ring he is getting and so I don’t give anything away, I am going to stop talking about it now.  After that I headed down the road to Hobby Lobby.  I finished up there and came back home to Arkadelphia.

I was reading a friend's blog today and she decided to write about HER thoughts.  I think that is great, because that is what I use my blog for, to talk about MY thoughts, hopes, and dreams.  She is a new mom and for the first time in a while she didn’t mention her baby.  I was reading a comment left by a friend who I am sure had all good intentions but her last statement was can’t wait to read your next blog and don’t forget your baby in it.  I don’t think it is fair to tell somebody what to blog about.  I understand some people don’t get to see her baby all the time (including me) but she is always always trying to put a picture or something of him on her blog.  The family and friends who read her blog get more information and pictures about her baby then if internet didn’t exist.  I don’t see why we can’t be thankful for what we get to see and hear and let her write what she wants to write.  Just saying.

School and Wedding Plans

I have been falling behind on my blogging and I want to apologize to the whole 10 people who read it.  I have been super busy with all my wedding planning and when I am not doing something wedding related I am working on school stuff.  I will try to catch you up on everything that has happened since my last blog (if I can remember it all).

Well, first of all, I have been working super hard on my invitations.  I have got them all printed out and Tyler put them all in envelopes.  I had no idea they were going to be so hard and I hate that they made me cry.  Tonight, I addressed 60 of them.  This past weekend Tyler and I went to Texarkana to finish registering at Bed Bath & Beyond and Target.  Then we went to Hobby Lobby and found some decorating pieces, unity candle. guest book, and signing pen.  The biggest accomplishment this weekend was Tyler and I figured out and made a sample centerpiece.  It is so beautiful and I can’t wait for everybody to see them.  I really don’t want to say a lot about it because I want everybody to be in aw on the wedding day.  I will say that we used sugar.  Today I met with my baker.  I decided to go with Delish Bakery in Mena.  I am going to have a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling.  Yum!!!

School is a pain in the butt.  I met with my advisor on Friday to find out that the chemistry that I already have isn’t a good enough chemistry and I am going to have to take another.  That really sucks stinks because I need this higher chemistry to be able to take organic and biochemistry in the spring.  The bad thing is that I need organic to be able to get into the nursing program.  If I can’t figure out a way to take this class I won’t be able to stay in the nursing program and will have to be out for a semester or until I can get this ONE class.  I was able to get in to most of the classes that I need for the spring.  I was lucky enough to get into all Monday, Wednesday, and Friday classes.  I have also found the organic chem class that I think I need offered at TC on Tuesday and Thursday.  I have to get it approved and hopefully it won’t be full.

Sorry I haven’t had any pictures to put on my blog but now that it is almost Thanksgiving and Christmas, I should be posting more from the holiday season.  I feel like these last few blogs have been so boring and hopefully soon they will be more fun.

A Few More Wedding Plans

Sorry I haven’t been blogging regularly, especially now that I am planning a wedding.  I want to keep everybody up to date on the plans but I am having trouble finding blogging time.  I have settled on my caterer, Sugar and Spice Catering out of Texarkana.  I am super excited about them.  I have enjoyed some of their food at another wedding in August.  It was delicious.  On Tuesday, I am going to meet with Delish Bakery out of Mena to pick out and order a wedding cake.  Tyler and I have also decided on a honeymoon.  I had originally always dreamed of a tropical get-away for my honeymoon but Tyler and I have decided that a trip to Orlando would be much better.  We plan to spend about a week and half in Orlando going to Disney World and Universal Studios.  I have never been before and am super excited.  Overall, everything wedding related is coming together very well.  I am so proud about how much I have accomplished in just 2 weeks.  I am still looking for the candlelighter equipment and I also still need to complete my DIY invitations.  I have also put Steph in charge of my music.  I thought it was crazy that the only thing that I was stressing over was the music.  She had music that she didn’t get to play at her wedding and I told her if she wanted so could use the same music.  I am so thankful to not have to worry about the music anymore.

School related, I am registering for spring classes Friday.  I am not really looking forward to next semester because I will be taking 2 hard science classes.  I am so ready for this semester to be over.  Honestly, I am ready to graduate.

Busy Busy Weekend

Saturday morning Tyler and I left Arkadelphia a little before 8.  We were definitely early birds that morning.  When we got into Mena we headed straight to Ty’s house to drop Daisy off, take a quick photo for our registries, and pick up some stuff for Ty’s bank.  Tyler was unprepared for the photo shoot but he is so photogenic we got a couple good ones.  After that we went to the bank, then we registered at Herod’s and Coast to Coast.  I had so much fun registering I have trouble remembering what I picked out or left out.  After Coast to Coast Tyler was starving so naturally went to Papa’s and had a lovely meal.  After Papa’s we went to James’ Super Save Foods to get Shelton to do our flowers for the wedding.  He said yes and I picked out some gorgeous white rose bouquets.  Mine is going to be special with some silver jeweled flowers in it.  I think they are going to be beautiful.  We also got a bundle of boutonnieres for the groom, groomsman, mothers, grandmothers, ring bearer, dads, and candle lighters.  When we left there we headed to the travel agency to find out that they are closed on Saturdays.  However, it was okay because I got the number.  Next, I had an appointment with a lady about some wedding rental decorations.  I found the arch that I am going to use at the ceremony.  It is gorgeous.  It is huge and there are so many possibilities  when it comes to decorating it.  I also found the inspiration for my color scheme.  The owner, Kelli, let me borrow a blue chair sash. (Pic at the bottom)  When we left there Tyler and I went to Wal-Mart and registered.  It was really fun cause I got to use one the price guns.  At Wal-Mart I picked out some awesome blue Paula Dean cookware.  Love it.  We also decided, while at Wal-Mart, to buy DIY invitations.  We got some really cute ones.  On the other hand I am supper nervous about printing them and typing them out.  I am worried I will mess them up.  If somebody else did them I would be able to blame them.  Wal-Mart was our last stop for wedding related activities this weekend.  We then went to the Olmstead house and got to play with Christopher and chat with Steph and Stephen.  Finally, we met up with Tyler’s parents for dinner at Cruizzer’s.  I have accomplished so much this week wedding wise but I still have so much to do.  This week I plan to call the travel agency, call Kelli and reserve the arch, call about a caterer and baker, and get started hopefully on the invitations.  I am taking my bridesmaids to Little Rock on the 20th of the month to do some dress shopping.  Super excited!!!!  Next weekend Tyler and I are going to Texarkana to finish registering at Bed Bath & Beyond and Target.  We are also going to go by Hobby Lobby and look at the wedding stuff, fabric, and flowers (center pieces).  Then off to the mall to look for Tyler’s wedding band and gifts for our attendants.  Lots to do but I am working hard and I know this is going to be a beautiful wedding.  I am working to hard for it not to be.

Here we go…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KAMERON MCDANIEL!!!!

My good friend Melody was induced this morning and she now has a beautiful baby boy.  I am so happy for her.  I will hopefully get to see him this weekend.

Tyler and I are going to Mena this weekend to start on wedding stuff.  We plan to start registering at at least a couple of hometown stores.  We are also going to see some wedding rental decorations.  Hopefully I will get around to seeing Shelton about doing my flowers.  We have to get Tyler’s side of the guest list.  I need need need to decide on invitations.  If we have time I need to see a travel agent about the honeymoon.  I have sooooo much to do in such a short time.  I have oodles and oodles of check lists and I keep adding to them instead of crossing off stuff.  I still need to pick out a cake design and bakery as well.

If I haven’t been doing school work I have been sitting in front of this computer trying to find the perfect songs for each moment of the ceremony.  I finally decided tonight, that I will not look no more.  Every time I look I changed my mind.  I have decided on 3 different Kenny G songs, Bella’s Lullaby, and a U2 song.  I don’t want to say to much because I want everyone to be in aw at the ceremony.  I still need to come up with a playlist for when the guests are being seated and for the reception.  We are officially getting married at First Baptist Church.  We are going to have the reception in the Fellowship Hall.  There will be no dancing but hopefully lots of good food.  I have contacted the flower girl and she said yes.  I have got in touch with my hairdresser and somebody to do my makeup.  My hairdresser is going to round up some help to do my bridesmaids hair.  I started tanning today.  I feel like I have accomplished a lot but then I think about everything else I have to do and then I get a little short of breath.  I am still keeping my cool and I am staying as organized as possible.

BIG NEWS!!!!!

Sorry I haven’t blogged lately I had a dreaded Ethics test last week and spent a lot of time freaking out over it but more importantly…

I AM GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been almost 6 years since Tyler and I started dating and almost 2 since we have been engaged and we are FINALLY going to tie the knot.  I have been waiting for this day for a long time and in only a few short weeks I will be a bride and then a wife.  JANUARY 1, 2011 or 1/1/11 is the day we will say our I do’s.  I have so much to do in such a short time.  I also have school and finals to think about on the side. So far I am not nervous about the work load.  I am lucky to have such a supportive family to help me through this.  Tyler and I have made a few decisions about the wedding so far.  Our colors are going to be blue and silver and at the reception I want it to have a winter wonderland theme.  We have chosen the places but are still trying to make sure they are available.  We want to get married at First Baptist Church with Brother David officiating.  We want the reception to be held at the Old Armory.  However, we haven’t decided if we want dancing yet.  We do want music to be played at the reception.  We have asked our bridesmaids and groomsman and they have all said yes.  I am super excited for December because that is when my girls and I are going to Dallas to get our dresses.  My bridesmaids will walk in at the ceremony to Bella’s Lullaby. (Thanks to Edward Cullen :) )  Tyler and I are so excited to be getting married and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.  I know we are going to have some great adventures and I will be sure to continue blogging.

On another note…

Tyler and I were robbed Sunday night.  Happy Halloween to us.  They took his wallet and my brand new tomtom out of my jeep.  I usually always lock my jeep but for some reason we both forget to lock it.  We were carrying a lot of stuff in that we brought back from Mena and it just slipped our minds.  We felt really stupid for it but learned our lesson.  I just hope who ever took our stuff needed it more than we did.  Hopefully now I will be able to find my way home or to school.  I am not sure cause I don’t have my tomtom.  Is this a reason to miss Ethics? lol.

Friday-Monday

Real creative title? Huh?

Friday when I got out of school I came home to find Tyler fixing to hit the road for El Dorado.  We had plans to make it to Mena for at least one day this past weekend to run some errands and see the family and originally thought that Tyler was not going to be able to make it due to a sudden change in work related plans.  Well anyways, when I got home he asked me if I wanted to go with him on his road trip and leave for Mena in the morning or I could leave right then and drive myself.  Well I hate driving so I decided to ride with Tyler to El Dorado.  It was about 5 when we hit the road and didn’t get back to Arkadelphia till about 9:30.  We decided that since we were still in the driving spirit we left for Mena right away.  I also hate getting up early and thought I would be able to sleep in Saturday morning.  Tyler dropped me off at my house at about midnight and then he went straight to his home.  We were both exhausted and sick of driving.  Saturday I woke up and hung out with my dad, mom, Macen, and Tyler.  On the down side I didn’t get to see my awesome barrel racing sister.  She had the ACT first thing that morning and a barrel race in Fort Smith later that day.  For lunch Tyler and I went to Papas.  It was yummy and I had been missing it.  After lunch we headed to Steph and Stephens to see them and Christopher.  One of the saddest things to me and Tyler is that we are so far away from him and don’t get to see him all the time.  Tyler grew up living far away from his aunts, uncles and cousins. Because of that Tyler wants to be there for his nephew.  Although Christopher doesn’t have any cousins nor should he expect any from us anytime soon.  After that much enjoyed time with the Olmstead crew we gathered up our stuff and Daisy and headed back home to Arkadelphia.  We didn’t do much the rest of the weekend just mainly chilled in front of the TV.

Today I got up for school and was surprisingly in a great mood the entire day.  I actually got something right in my dreaded Ethics class.  The teacher even said “Good job.”  I was so thrilled I think I even squealed a little.  I was even more excited when he handed out the notes for the day.  He has handed out 3 different notes for this next test on Friday.  I really like this because he doesn’t use a book and this is something that I know is right.  (Things can be taken out of context so easily in this class.)  I had a test in Nutrition that I probably should have focused a little harder on but my brain is still so tired from nursing school.  I know it sounds like I am making excuses but my brain is full and it either needs to get bigger or throw away some trash.  Tonight Tyler and I went grocery shopping and we bought a lamp for my bedroom.  I was so excited that I put it together immediately.  The reason we bought it is so that there is more light in my room for studying.  Who would have thought that I would buy something to promote me studying when I was just complaining about it?

After rereading this blog I realized that the only people who would even care to read it would have to be somebody who loved me.  If you don’t care that I bought a lamp today that is ok.  I am sure I wouldn’t care either.  However, I don’t care if you care because this blog was designed so that someday I will be able to look back at all my adventures or crazy life and smile.  I am happy about creating this blog and always feel better when I write a post.

I am a NURSE!!!!!

A year ago at this time I was half way through the first semester of one of the roughest years ever.  I was in nursing school debating my career choice.  I had no idea what I was getting into but later realized it would be a year that I would never forget.  I made friendships that will always last and grew up in fast forward.  Originally, I didn’t care if I were in the LPN program at RMCC or not.  I am very glad that I completed it and feel very accomplished as a 21 year old.  It was rough, many tears were shed, and unfortunately it came with many early early mornings.   Last weekend I took my state boards and I did not feel good about the results.  I hadn’t really studied because I just couldn’t make myself look at my notes 1 more time.  Apparently I learned something during that year and I was able to pass.  When I found out Tuesday that I had passed, I was shocked.  I almost started crying.  With this accomplishment I finally feel like I have graduated.  I am proud to call myself a LPN and in about 3 more years I will be able to call myself a RN.

Wednesday Evening

Let’s just say I have been extremely moody the last few days and tonight I took it out on Tyler.  There was no rhyme or reason for it I just went off on him.  I didn’t yell or hit or anything like that, I just got all hissy like a two year old and stomped off to my room.  This time of the month has always been difficult for me emotionally and apparently I couldn’t handle it tonight.  The good news is that I can switch emotions just as fast as they come on.  I just wanted to publically apologize to Tyler and thank him from putting up with me.  I don’t think anybody else could do it.  I am in a much better mood now so I decided to blog about the happier part of the evening.  Tyler cooked dinner and then cleaned up after himself.
He made really good beef fajitas

I got a belated birthday gift from the awesome Olmstead family.  They got me a gift card to Bed Bath & Beyond.  I love that store, it has everything home related.  I am also officially a LPN!!!!!  ( I plan to devote a blog to that in the next few days. I want a picture of my license.)

Tickets and Pumpkins

Well it’s Monday and so being I got my first ticket ever.  I left my apartment early so that I could get a parking spot at school and was just minding my own business.  I wasn’t listening to the radio loudly, talking (or texting) on my cell, and I was wearing my seatbelt.  I was coasting down hill when the cop got me. I didn’t react like I thought I would to getting pulled over.  I always thought I would cry hysterically and not have my driver’s license or something along those lines.  However, I handled it very mature; I apologized sincerely and just let it be.  I couldn’t even be mad at the cop because he was apologizing as he wrote the ticket.  He was a very nice man.

Oops :(

P1010443

After school today I was very productive.  I made and amazing dinner of chicken breast, corn, crescent rolls, and mashed potatoes.  It was delicious!!!!!!!!!  I hate my oven but toughed it for the crescent rolls.  So that I didn’t burn the rolls I had to cook them on a temperature of 200-250 degrees.  That is a whole 100 degrees less than it requires.  After dinner I started work on my favorite part of Halloween.  I finally go to carve a pumpkin.  I was originally going to carve pumpkins with Steph and Stephen but I got sick. My finished product…

P1010441I broke the poor guys nose and had to use a combination of hot glue and nails to fix it.  If you look closely it’s crooked.  He is still pretty cool and I am proud of my accomplishment.

Once again just blabbering…

Tyler’s watching TV and I am sitting at my computer staring at the screen.  I don’t really have anything to say but felt like talking.  Yesterday I took my State Boards to get my official LPN license.  I am really nervous about the results and honestly don’t feel great about the test.  I will find out hopefully by Wednesday if I have passed or failed.  I had to get up at 5 a.m. to be on the road to Texarkana by 6 to be at the testing site at 7:30.  It wasn’t ideal but I managed. (Tyler drove.)  When I woke up Saturday morning I felt like I hadn’t slept at all but somehow I wasn’t tired.  I didn’t even eat breakfast and I am not one to skip a meal. It took me about 1 hr and 20 minutes to take the test and when I finished Tyler and I headed to the Race for Cure to see his parents.  We didn’t stay long, we were mainly just passing time.  We had plans to eat lunch with them so we had to wait for the walk to be over.

I can’t believe the semester is HALFWAY over.  It seems like just yesterday I was looking for an apartment in Arkadelphia and super nervous about the first day of school.  Life here has become very routine and I really enjoy it here.  I really need to buckle down the next several weeks for my schooling.  I think I am passing all my classes but am really struggling in Ethics.  My first test was a few weeks ago and even though I studied I still didn’t do very well at all.  To tell you the truth it really sucked.

I like reading blogs that have pictures and I am not very good at posting any on my blog.  I live in Arkadelphia and it is just me, Tyler, and Daisy. So therefore I don’t really have anybody to take pictures of.  But here is a picture of my baby, Daisy.  She enjoys sitting by our sliding glass door watching the neighbors and laying in the sun.  She is quite the guard dog when it comes to other critters but I think she would roll over for a stranger.

I’m 21!!!!

Yesterday was my birthday and it was a great day!!!!  I had school all day which meant I had to get up at 6:15.  Tyler even got up early to give me my gift.  He got me a TomTom.  I was super excited because I have been wanting one for a long time especially now that I am living in Arkadelphia.  Luckily, my last class of the day was canceled so I was finished with school at 3.  Steph took me to El Mariachi for lunch and it was yummy. When Tyler got off work we headed to Hot Springs and went out to eat at Chili’s.  Chili’s has amazing desserts and I really wanted one.  After dinner we did a little window/dream shopping and then headed back home.  I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t have a fruity alcohol drink but I realized that turning 21 isn’t just about drinking.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF!!!

Weekend Wrapup

This weekend I had all intentions of spending Saturday carving pumpkins with Steph, Stephen, and Tyler, however, I got very sick Friday morning, missed all my classes, went to Mena early and went to the doctor.  Earlier in the week, I had been feeling kind of puny but thought I could tuff it out and by Friday I couldn't even lay down comfortably.  It really sucked and really ruined all my plans.  I got put on antibiotics and spent all of Saturday in my pjs on the couch.  I did get to do some early birthday celebrating with my family though.  Saturday my dad fixed his awesome spaghetti and momma made me a double layer white cake with chocolate icing (delicious).  I also got to open my gifts.  From my parents I got a printer, twp movies (The Killers and Bounty Hunter), and a croc pot.  From my sister I got two wine glasses with woozies, margarita mix, and salt. (I also get to pick out a new wallet)  Tyler's parents gave me my gift before I headed back to Arkadelphia on Sunday.  They got me a beautiful red clock that I had seen at Hobby Lobby about a month ago.  Tyler won't give me my gift till Wednesday but says it is somewhere in the apartment and he also says I will never find it.  I learned a couple things this past week:  1.  don't wait till your symptoms are really really bad to go to the doctor and 2. plans change and life happens.

Just Blabbering

  • Last week I was stressin over ALL my tests and I think it paid off.  Here is the almost finally tally (my awesome ethics teacher hasn't got around to grading our 30 so multiple choice test) : English B, Biology B, Nutrition A, Biology lab B, Sociology A.  I was very happy with those grades and I don't want to have to study like that again until finals.
  • Life in Arkadelphia has been pretty good.  Daisy chewed up another one of Tyler's iPod chargers.  (That makes 2.)  I can't figure out why she decides to chew up those.  We have bones for her but she hates them.  Luckily, she has yet to chew up anything else.
  • I have decided that some of the guys at Henderson need to learn how to treat girls.  The other day I was walking towards my class and I was going up the stairs.  (Normal behavior is to scoot over to one side so that somebody can pass you or have room around you.)  I met a group of guys that were coming down the stairs that decided they must stay together side-by-side so not to get lost (is my only guess) making it almost impossible for me to get up the stairs.  I really wanted to tell them SCOOT OVER, but instead I kept my eyes on the stairs and pushed pass them.  That is not my only incident with guys.  Normally if a guy or even a girl were to see you coming for the door you hold it open, however, only on rare occasions has that occurred.
  • I am really excited about this weekend.  Steph, Stephen, Tyler, and I are going to carve pumpkins on Saturday.  I would love it to be a tradition for when Tyler and I have children.  Tyler and I have carved pumpkins 2 out of the 5 years we have dated.  Manda and her man Macen have carved with us 1 of those years.  It is always really fun, entertaining, and messy.  (I am bringing my camera home this weekend and will be sure to post pictures of the action.)
  • This weekend I am also hoping to celebrate my 21st birthday with my family.
  • The weather has been nice but I am really not a fan of the cold.  However it has given me the excuse to drink hot cocoa and make chili.  I make some darn good chili but I only feel the need to make it when it is chili outside.
  • I woke up this morning with a sinus headache and I can't sleep.  I have to go to stinkin Sociology at 1:30, then to mechanic to get a recall on my jeep taken care of, then to Wal-Mart to buy some medicine and another iPod charger.
  • I hope everybody has a great day.

    My Wonderful Life

For some odd reason today I have had a feeling of being blessed.  I am so happy to be in such a great place in my life and I am so thrilled about the future.  Things are happening in my life and I am so ready to let go and take them all in.  Moving to Arkadelphia has been an amazing change.  I find it humerous how I didn't even want to give this place a chance and now I wouldn't have it any other way.  My apartment is very nice minus the noisy upstairs neighbors who leave at odd hours of the night.  Tyler and I are in an excellent place in our relationship.  My family is healthy and happy.  I have great friends.  I really enjoy school and would be a career student if I could.  I am such a nerd.  Fall is here and even though I don't look forward to the upcoming cold weather, it has been absolutely beautiful outside.  I think I just figured out why I am in such a great mood...I have nothing wrong and nothing to complain about.  God is good.

Tonight I get to watch my shows, How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, and Two and a Half Men.  I also need to go the store before dinner.  I have no milk and am about 4 squares away from being out of toilet paper.  I only have 1 test tomorrow and it is not untill 1:30 so I don't have to do much studying tonight.  Thanks to DVR, I might convince Tyler to go with me and Daisy to this nice walking trail.  That's all for now.  BYE!!!

    Weekend Wrap-Up

It is about 6:30 and I am back in Arkadelphia.  I am actually procrastinating studying for a test.  I am so dreading this week.  I have a test in every class.  YUCK! YUCK!  (Side note… If I don’t blog a lot this week these tests are the reason.)  This weekend I got to see my mom.  I hadn’t seen her since May and even then I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her.  She has been over seas working and I am so happy that she is back on US territory.  Friday night she made like four huge homemade pizzas that we all ate on all weekend.  They were really good though.  Saturday I spent the day with my mom watching movies.  Manda drove me to town in the morning so that I could do some errands.  Today I went to church, then Papa’s, and then to Tyler’s.  While at Tyler’s we watched some football and I got to see Christopher for a short amount of time.  I brought Daisy back home and I am happy to have her here.  It was a very quiet weekend but enjoyable.  I guess I better hit the books now.  :(

    Friday Talk

I have had a pretty good week but it has been pretty uneventful so I haven’t had anything to really blog about.  Well today is Friday and I am heading to Mena this evening.  I will probably be heading to Mena for the next few weekends for some birthdays that are coming up.  Fall started this week and along with that so did my favorite shows.  This week I watched the series premieres of How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, Two and a Half Men, Glee, Big Bang Theory, and Grey’s Anatomy.  I am really looking forward to this weekend but not this upcoming week.  Next week I have a test in every single class through out the entire week.  I would actually like to get all of them over at the beginning of the week and not worry about them later.  I also have two different projects due in two of classes.  I am working on my procrastination so I have actually started on one of them and am half way finished.  Go me!!!!  It also helps that I have nothing to do during the day.  I think I am out of things to talk about so I am going to go.  Bye.

    Tyler

I have nothing to discuss today so I decided to have a dedication day. I have also decided that randomly I will start posting about somebody who has influenced me or had an impact in my life. They will not be in order of favorites but just who comes to mind that day.

    Today is about Tyler…

He is my best friend and fiancĂ©. He has been here for me through thick and thin. We have had our ups and downs but always work it out in the end. He is always around to wipe the tears from my eyes and turn ALL my frowns upside down. He is my rock and without him I would be lonely. He has always encouraged me to fight for my dreams. He means the world to me and he is my partner in crime.  Thank you for everything babe. I love you.
