Back to the Grind Stone :(

So school started back this past week.  Lovely. :/  The only good thing about this year is that it is my senior year.  However, with that comes serious responsibilities and hard classes.  The first week of school overwhelmed me.  I am already having to figure out my internship stuff, and it isn’t even due till February.  I’m pretty sure I spent 75% of my time complaining this week. 

My schedule is crazy this year.  With work study and classes, I am at school everyday until at least 3:30.  Mondays I start at 9 and finish at 7:30 with an hour lunch break and a 45 minute dinner break.  Awesome, right?!?!?

Anywho…

I got myself a back-to-school haircut.

On August 18, Christopher turned 3!!! I can’t believe it.  I still remember the day he was born, and I can’t believe he is already 3.  He is getting so big.

I’m going to try real hard to keep with blogging this year, but I honestly am not sure how much I will be able to with my chaotic schedule this semester.

1 more TEST!!!

Ok, so obviously I have 1 more test until I have a nice little two week break before fall classes start.  AND when my classes do start, it will be the start of my senior year.  Ya baby!!!  I hate to throw out any excuses, but I have been pretty busy with this summer class.  I mean it’s A&P II y’all!!!  Give a girl break.  :)

I have been trying to decide if I want to break up my July posts or keep them all together in one GIANT post. 

I think I’ve decided to put them all together because I know if I don’t do it now, I won’t do it all.

Monday Chatter

So, this is my last week of summer for 5 weeks.  Actually, my last week of summer for 19 school days.  It’s a little bittersweet.  I am not ready to tackle A&P II and medical terminology over a 5 week span.  At the same time, I can do anything for 5 weeks, and it’s my last undergrad class EVER!!! Hallelujah!

Anyhoo…

I started the C25K about 2 weeks ago.  I have been pretty consistent.  However, I have decided that I need to get up earlier because it is WAY TOO HOT!!!  I didn’t run this morning, but I am gonna get my lazy butt out there late this evening or first thing in the morning.  We shall see.

I told you it was HOT!!!

I mentioned in my last post about how I’ve been crafty.  Well, this is my latest creation.  I didn’t want to display it on my blog until Tyler had seen it.

This morning I was bored of my orange and silver toes, so I decided to give them a patriotic look.  My sister got me crackle nail polish for Christmas, so that’s the top coat. My toes are kinda funky looking, but the nail polish is cool. :)

Everything Else…

This is my third post in one day!!!!  Definitely a record.  This post is just a bunch of randomness from summer.  I will try to get all the stories right and in the correct order.  Just bear with me.

First of all, Steph and Stephen went on a cruise, and I got to watch after my cute little nephew for a couple days.  I know I say this every time I talk about him, but he is so darn cute and at a really fun age.

I also got some snuggle time with Baxter during the Olmstead vacay.

Tyler and I are trying to eat at home more. We couldn’t take it anymore, so we splurged and went to Pizza Hut.  The Pizza Hut in Arkadelphia has an outside eating area and we love sitting out there during the spring and summer.  We usually ending up staying for a couple hours without even realizing it.

A couple weeks ago, we drove to Texarkana to run some errands and get some Olive Garden.  Of course, we ate WAY more than we should have.

I’ve been in Arkadelphia for about 3 weeks.  This is probably the longest I have ever stayed here during one stretch.  Well, I got bored one day and decided to get some summer time highlights.

I’ve also been doing some crafts.  I made this the other day.  It’s a scripture board.

I’ve also spent some time at the pool working on my tan.

On Saturday, I went to one of Tyler’s cousin’s wedding.  It was short, sweet, and to the point.  There was good food, good music, and good times with family.  Tyler couldn’t make it because he was working. :(
