Saturday Night

+Well it's Saturday night and I am laying on the couch trying to watch tv on Tyler's computer.  OOOOO how I miss television.  I still have internet but I feel disconnected without tv.  Luckily, the "tv man" should be hear Tuesday.  I am super-duper excited!!!!

+Today, Tyler and I went to Texarkana to run some errands.  It was fun.  We had three different gift cards that were burning a hole in my pocket and I was ready to spend them.  But in the end, I actually didn't use all of one of them.

+Another highlight of the day, Tyler and I have been married for 4 weeks.  Pretty awesome.  OOO and for the first time in our married life I actually introduced myself as Britney Speer.  It felt amazing.  I mean I have told people my name is Britney Speer but I haven't actually shaken somebody's hand and said, "Hi, I am Britney Speer."  That was probably the most exciting event all week.

+I still haven't completely settled in and I feel like laundry will never end but I really am enjoying married life and life not in an apartment.  The weather the last few days have been great.  I love the warm weather and can't wait to see more of it.  The only thing I really like about the cold is that I get to wear scarves.

+Tommorrow, I have big plans to get some things accomplished.  Tonight, however, I think I am going to relax and read some more of Breaking Dawn.  (I am almost finished with it finally.)  I hope everybody has had a great day. Good night!!!

Just a little rambling...

I am trying to get back in the swing of writing and my computer gets a virus. So unfortunately I am writing this blog on my iPod. I prefer writing with windows live writer because it lays everything out so much more simpler and the screen is much bigger than the one on my iPod. Anyhoo... I enjoy blogging because I know someday I will look back over these short stories of my life and be grateful. In my last blog I ended discussing BIG decisions, well my "big" decision that I have been struggling with is my choice of a major. As you know I am a LPN and am currently taking classes towards my BSN. However, I have decided that I don't want to be a nurse. I have been playing with the idea of becoming a Registered Dietitian. I mean whats better than dealing with food for a living? I feel like everything happens for a reason and due to this is the reason Tyler and I are in Arkadelphia. I am really not sure why I went to nursing school when I can't even take out nasty scraps and I really don't do well with boogers, mucous, or throw up. I kind of want to blame Steph for the booger phobia. ;) When I completely make up my mind I will inform you ASAP.

As soon as my computer gets fixed I will be posting numerous pictures from the wedding and honeymoon. Please hang in there.

Weekend Wrap Up

I had a pretty good weekend. On Saturday morning I finally had my wedding shower hosted by some ladies from Tyler's church. They gave me a brunch and together they gave Tyler and I a new microwave. Tyler and I were so thankful. The one we had was ancient and the button to open the door would get stuck. Other than the microwave, I got numerous gifts that I was so excited to receive. The worst part about this weekend was that my mother and sister were unable to make it. My sister lives for barrel racing and she was racing in Texarkana the entire weekend and that was where they were. On Saturday evening, I played games with the in-laws. Tyler and I came back to Arkadelphia this morning and unloaded all of our gifts and spent a couple of hours figuring out where to put everything. This is the first weekend that we have been able to bring Daisy to our new trailer. She was so excited to get to come with us that she almost beat us to the car. She has been laying on her pillow most of the day snoring. Tomorrow I have a full day and I start my yoga class. I am pretty excited about it.

Isn't it funny how things change on a daily basis. One minute you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and the next it is so cloudy you can't see your hand in front of your face. Here lately Tyler and I have had to decide on numerous hard decisions. It is so hard to be an adult and make grown up decisions. Just some food for thought.

Yes I am alive!!!

I feel like such am a horrible blogger.  It has been over a month since my last update and for that I apologize.  I had finals, Christmas, a wedding, a honeymoon, moving, and a new semester to prep for.  OOO and on top of that, I didn’t have the available internet that I am used to in Arkadelphia.  But enough excuses, all that really matters is that I am alive and back to blogging with a ton of photos and stories (if I can remember them all).  Since I am behind so bad I am going to start where I left off, at Christmas.  I know every other blogger has already posted their pics and stories but now it is my turn.

I started my celebration Christmas Eve afternoon at the Speer house.  I celebrated with my in-laws (that feels pretty awesome to say finally) and Christopher.

After the exciting afternoon at the Speer home, Tyler and I went to my grandmother’s home.  There we had Christmas with my family.

This is my sister and I awaiting our presents.

I spent Christmas day at my parent’s house.  It was my last Christmas as “single” lady and my parents took advantage of that by keeping with their awesome tradition of one present every hour.  I received numerous gifts and was so blessed to spend the holiday with so much family.

On another note, Tyler and I have been married for a little over two weeks but today we have been together for 6 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I had school all day and he worked and at the end of the day we were both so tired we just stayed at our new trailer and made hamburgers on one of our three George Foreman Grills we received as wedding presents.

Happy Anniversary Baby!!!!!!!!

P1010752P1010784This is a little sneak peak of the honeymoon pics.  As soon as I get all of the wedding pics I will dedicate one blog to the wedding and one to the honeymoon.  I am glad to be back to blogging and can’t wait to fill ya’ll in all my exciting news.
