Tyler’s Birthday and Memorial Day Weekend

Tyler turned 23 this year.  The years are flying by faster and faster.  I mean, I still have pictures from his last birthday on my camera.  We were in Arkadelphia for Tyler’s birthday, but we decided to go to Texarkana to celebrate.

I tried to get a good picture of the 2 of us.  It took forever because Tyler didn’t want to smile.

Tyler decided that he wanted to sleep on the way home, so I snapped this picture.

On Memorial Day weekend, Tyler and I loaded up the labs and headed to the creek.  We spent a few hours away from technology.  It was nice just the two of us and the dogs.

Manda’s Graduation and Graduation Party

My baby sister is ALL grown up.  On May 18th, she graduated from high school!!

The next day, I threw her a party.  Through a few tears and a lot of sweat, everything turned out great.  There was food from a grill, a balloon pit, a streamer wall for pictures, and table all about her.

The balloons kept blowing out of the pit, so we had to use grandma’s quilts to cover the pit. Quite humorous!!

I guess should explain, that all of her presents are in the pit. 

After eating, she has to get into the pit and find her presents. 

All the guests get to laugh her while she bobs around in the balloons.

Everybody that came had their picture taken in front of the wall.

The balloon pit also made for some pretty cool pictures.

Finals Are Over and Summer Is HERE!!!!

I am so happy to say that summer is here!!! I have been looking forward to this since January.  Ha!!!  I have been really looking forward to this summer because it is my last summer as a college student.  Next summer when I graduate, I will be looking for a job much like my SIL.

That’s right.  Stephanie graduated this year!!!

After Steph’s graduation, we all loaded up and headed towards Hot Springs for some yummy Olive Garden.  Then, we all made a train back to Mena.  Tyler and I spent most of our time in Mena getting ready for my sister’s graduation and party and to spend some time with my mom.

One evening while we were all just hanging out, we decided to do some shooting at targets.  Can’t deny that we have a little country in our blood.  :)

In my next blog, I hope to have Manda’s graduation party post ready. 

Tyler turns 23 tomorrow.  Is it just me or do all females have trouble shopping for men?  I am always a last minute shopper when comes to Tyler because I never know what he wants.

What I’m Lovin’ Right Now

Summer is 2 finals away!!! Can I get an AMEN?!?!  Of course during July, I am taking two summer classes.  That’s gonna be fun.

Anyhoo…

This is what I’m loving right now…

1.  The hubs has this whole Eric Church thing going on, and it’s kinda sexy. ;)

2.  A good deal.  I got these little beauties for $4.99.  I sure can’t pass up a deal like that.  Of course, the first time I wore them they left me with some pretty awesome blisters, but I will have them broke in soon.  :)

3.  Sno cones!!! There is little place in Caddo Valley set up right now, and I am loving their wedding cake sno cone.  I have already had 4, and summer hasn’t even really started yet. 

4.  Sunsets and rainbows. 

5.  Watching the hubs enjoying C’s car.  C was down for a nap, and Ty wanted to see if he could fit.  LOL!!!

6.  Staying comfy in summer clothes.  Don’t get me wrong, I love to get all gussied up and go out, but this week is finals week.  I’m lucky if I comb my hair. The last two days I have worn shorts and a t-shirt, and I have loved it!!!7.  Finals are almost over!!!!  I have really only had one final that I have HAD to study for, and it’s the one I have tomorrow.  Honestly, I should be studying right now.  When I got home today, I studied for about an hour and a half.  Then, Ty and I spent about 2 1/2 hours in Pizza Hut and around town.  Good times!!
